Advancing high pressure science in Australia

The High Pressure Research Workshop – Australia 2026 brings together an international community of researchers to share breakthroughs, develop collaborative networks, and explore the future of matter under extreme conditions.

Spanning two unique venues — from Australia's bush capital Canberra to the immersive natural setting of Kioloa — this workshop offers a rare opportunity to combine rigorous scientific exchange with an inspiring Australian landscape.

The programme features invited talks, poster sessions for students and early career researchers, and structured roundtable discussions designed to foster genuine collaboration across experiment, theory, and computation.
